THE ESCAPE PLAN

The way and manner you find solutions to problems determines what you put your faith in. As Christians we can sometimes get so anxious and desperate about an issue to the extent that prayer and trusting God will be the last thing that will come to mind. Yes, as humans we have been programmed to find solutions because God has given us wisdom to do so, but how we find solutions to problems should be an act of Faith in God.

Irrespective of how small or big a problem is, how do you find your way out? Does your escape plan honor God or will God approve of the processes you go through to find yourself out of whatever going on in your life?

Proverbs 3 :5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.

We sometimes reduce and restrict God to a lower dimension that, anytime we are faced with a problem, the first thing we do is to get in touch with loved ones not necessarily to find solution but just to find comfort. We keep messing up God’s plan for our lives with our personal escape plan. Some Christians are not committed enough to trust God, not patient enough to wait on God and not diligent enough to pray and seek God’s face concerning problems in their lives.

In the quest to find solution, we don’t mind taking compromising decisions that is clearly against God’s word and lowering our standards as a born-again Christian. We sometimes don’t mind stepping on people’s toes and defying all odds to satisfy our personal gains just like unbelievers

Your personal escape plan to you and like minded like you may sound genius, easy and fast but remember, you cannot escape the consequences of your actions and for everything we do on earth here we will give an account to God.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Sometimes our escape plan may be breeding ground for more sins and problems, which will surely affect you physically and spiritually. We sometimes go through all the hassle for temporary solutions and will end up distracting us with our walk with God.

For example, if getting drunk or fornicating is your escape plan to forget about the pending issue, remember that apart from the issue not being solved, that act has a serious implication both physically and spiritually and is disgusted by God

To every problem God has given us grace and strength to go through, so why don’t you seek God for wisdom and direction through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Sometimes we Christians forget is that our God is a God of principles. Though we have victory over every problems and trials, we should keep it in mind that anytime we go through tough times, these rough times are supposed to refine and grow us up spiritually.

God is all knowing and His timing is perfect, trust in His process and Let God be your calm in the storm. Let God be your escape plan and avail yourself to be led by the Holy spirit.

Psalm 37:5  Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, your children acknowledge that You alone hold the keys to every problem. Father Lord forgive us for all the times we have doubted and used our own escape plan. Help me God to lean on You and trust in Your timing and process. May I be leadable and deliver me from temptation in Jesus’ Name

Amen

Be Christfulness
