Our opinion on spiritual activities doesn’t change the fact that : the spirit realm is real and has power to influence the way of life of living beings .Spirits are invisible forces that drives people’s actions.  There are two major types of spirits namely the Holy spirit and evil spirits. Our actions are backed by spiritual influences and the outcome of our lives are greatly determined by what spirit influences us. Let’s read more about characteristics of evil spirits.

There are many different types of Evil spirit with different capabilities and agendas. In the bible evil spirits, demons and unclean spirits are used interchangeably

  16. The works of evil spirits can look normal and too insignificant to deal with spiritually, like some sicknesses Matthew 8 :16

THE MAN JESUS CHRIST

No one understands you better than the man called Jesus Christ from Nerzereth. He is the only man who truly knows the laws of heaven and has experienced earth and it’s challenges, that is why till now He still pleads for mercy on your behalf from God Almighty in heaven. He is currently seated at the right-hand side of God Almighty interceding for humanity.

Before two thousand years ago, Jesus being the only begotten son of God was sent down to earth in a human form as a sacrifice to appease for the sins of humanity caused by Adam.(The first man God created) THe major effect of The fall of man was broken fellowship with God, which needed to be fixed as soon as possible..The price for the damage was the blood of the man Jesus Christ

Romans 5 :19 “For just as through the disobedience of the one man the Many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man that many will be made righteous”.

For our sake, Jesus was humiliated, called all sorts of names, doubted, rejected and experienced the inhuman wrath of the people He was on a rescue mission for.

So, what is it that you are currently going through that you think This Man either doesn’t care or can’t relate with? Is it

Humiliation – Hebrews 12 :2 The pain of rejection- Luke 9 :53, Isaiah 53 :3 Sorrow- John 11: 35

Financial problem- 2 Corinthians 8 :9

Starting a ministry-Matthew 4 ;12-25

Betrayal- Luke 22 :3-6

Fellowship and prayer- Mark 1:1-13

Temptation- Matthew 4: 1-11

Hunger- Matthew 4 :2

While on earth Jesus understood the laws of Heaven and never forgot He was on a mission. Jesus went through all these as a human not a Spirit. This man called Jesus experienced, executed, survived and prevailed as a human. When His mission was done on earth, He said :

John 14: 12-13 “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the Works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than These, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you Ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

His blood that was shed is still speaking better things in your life, trust His leading and you will surely prevail too. He is always rooting for you, so don’t give up. He knows and can relate with what you are going through, He knows what lies ahead in the future, just trust His process and timing He can’t wait to meet with you soon, after all is said and done be found worthy of His presence when you meet Him.

Learning Whiles Unlearning

Sometimes in our Christian life, we know for sure that backsliding is not an option but making an intentional effort to experience a higher dimension of Jesus Christ,is where the problem lies. Your walk with Christ Is always determine by how far you intend to go with Him. When it comes to your relationship with God, God is waiting on you to make a decision and He will help you execute it

Our background, physical environment and culture has made a way for a lot of things to be established and rooted in our lives. The way you were natured came as a default setting but there comes a stage in your life where you have to make some choices with eternity in mind

Your decision will require you to seek knowledge and understanding about the things of God: that is the learning process. You cannot go through your learning process without the help of the Holy spirit. The word of God is the manual required for your learning process. Any form by which the unadulterated word of God comes, you are suppose to open your spirit to it as you apply it

Your learning process is not a passive activity. You will be required to spend a lot of time on the things of God. You will be required to pray for wisdom and understanding about the things of God and learn to be discipline as you avoid situation that will compromise your learning process. This process is in gradual stages and every single stage has renewed grace. Relationship with God is not just established within your stated specified time frame, but rather it is a life time commitment full of up and downs. God for sure will show you unconditional love but He will rebuke you when the need arises

Whiles on the learning process, with the help of the Holy spirit, the unlearning process start to unfold. The unlearning process will require you to take some difficult decisions like unfriending some close friends, getting rid of bad habits or sometimes even changing your church and sacrificing hours to spend time in the presence of God etc. Whiles going through these processes, know that at first it won’t be easy and convenient, getting rid of habits developed in years and in built temperaments, will surely not be a rosy task.

And keep it in mind that anytime you decide to take a step in the right direction concerning your relationship with God, the devil will try to discourage and distract you. But never give up. God is proud of every little progress and He is cheering you up throughout the race

PRAYER Thank you Father you not giving up on me, Father your word says your grace is sufficient, I pray for grace to stand against any temptation the devil throws my way and I open up to the Holy spirit to help establish a meaningful

relationship with You,I pray for grace to worship you in truth and in spirit In Jesus’ name Amen

THE ESCAPE PLAN

The way and manner you find solutions to problems determines what you put your faith in. As Christians we can sometimes get so anxious and desperate about an issue to the extent that prayer and trusting God will be the last thing that will come to mind. Yes, as humans we have been programmed to find solutions because God has given us wisdom to do so, but how we find solutions to problems should be an act of Faith in God.

Irrespective of how small or big a problem is, how do you find your way out? Does your escape plan honor God or will God approve of the processes you go through to find yourself out of whatever going on in your life?

Proverbs 3 :5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.

We sometimes reduce and restrict God to a lower dimension that, anytime we are faced with a problem, the first thing we do is to get in touch with loved ones not necessarily to find solution but just to find comfort. We keep messing up God’s plan for our lives with our personal escape plan. Some Christians are not committed enough to trust God, not patient enough to wait on God and not diligent enough to pray and seek God’s face concerning problems in their lives.

In the quest to find solution, we don’t mind taking compromising decisions that is clearly against God’s word and lowering our standards as a born-again Christian. We sometimes don’t mind stepping on people’s toes and defying all odds to satisfy our personal gains just like unbelievers

Your personal escape plan to you and like minded like you may sound genius, easy and fast but remember, you cannot escape the consequences of your actions and for everything we do on earth here we will give an account to God.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Sometimes our escape plan may be breeding ground for more sins and problems, which will surely affect you physically and spiritually. We sometimes go through all the hassle for temporary solutions and will end up distracting us with our walk with God.

For example, if getting drunk or fornicating is your escape plan to forget about the pending issue, remember that apart from the issue not being solved, that act has a serious implication both physically and spiritually and is disgusted by God

To every problem God has given us grace and strength to go through, so why don’t you seek God for wisdom and direction through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Sometimes we Christians forget is that our God is a God of principles. Though we have victory over every problems and trials, we should keep it in mind that anytime we go through tough times, these rough times are supposed to refine and grow us up spiritually.

God is all knowing and His timing is perfect, trust in His process and Let God be your calm in the storm. Let God be your escape plan and avail yourself to be led by the Holy spirit.

Psalm 37:5  Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, your children acknowledge that You alone hold the keys to every problem. Father Lord forgive us for all the times we have doubted and used our own escape plan. Help me God to lean on You and trust in Your timing and process. May I be leadable and deliver me from temptation in Jesus’ Name

Amen

THE CHRIST VIBES

THE CHRIST VIBES

As a Christian, what is the atmosphere around you like? Your first-time impression and the daily aura around should speak Christ.  You should be full of Christ to the extent that every action of yours, both in private and public should bodly manifest Christ.

Your light should be able to shine so bright that it becomes visible for unbelievers.

Let every word that comes out of your mouth minister grace and an encounter with you should be so divine and refreshing that people will be attracted to your God.

Matthew 5:14-16 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Never use your temperament, circumstances or distress an excuse why Christ cannot be fully manifested through your behavior and speech. You will never know the magnitude of damage your little action may cause towards God’s plans for humanity as result of your negative emotions or failing faith.

Look beyond your current situation and stop using your temperament as an excuse why you cannot be full of Christ. Let the atmosphere around you minister encouragement, love, joy, peace, hope and the heart of Christ. Anytime people come around you, irrespective of their believes, may they leave your presence with a touch of Christ and refreshed because of the Christ vibes around you.

Don’t allow the devil to use you to discourage and kill people’s hopes and joy through your action or speech. No matter the situation a person found him or herself ask God for wisdom on how to be a blessing both spiritually and physically, and let Christ reflect through you to them

Personally, allow yourself to be led by the Holy spirit, be filled His word and guard you mind and heart against the devil at all cost

PRAYER

Thank you Lord Jesus for the Spirit, given to me to minister grace, joy love peace and your word at all times. Father help me so that my negative temperaments and emotions will not get the best part of me to the extent that Christ will not be seen in me in Jesus’ Name AMEN

DRY AND LUKEWARM

Good intention, the desire, partial obedience and partial commitment are not enough in pleasing God. We cannot serve God using your own terms and conditions. As born-again Christians we have to be intentional about our growth and walk with God. God never forces His will on us, so we have to be faithful in giving ourselves wholly to the relationship with Him.

Being intentional about your walk with God is all about being discipline and committed with the relationship with God, being prayerful, letting the word of God be your guide and commanding your flesh to submit to your spirit. As a born-again Christian, we are suppose to pay much attention to the needs of our spirit. You can’t be pleasing your flesh and expect God to be happy with you

Galatians 5;16-17  16 What I say is this: let the Spirit direct your lives, and you will not satisfy the desires of the human nature. 17 For what our human nature wants is opposed to what the Spirit wants, and what the Spirit wants is opposed to what our human nature wants. These two are enemies, and this means that you cannot do what you want to do

The devil can strategically lure you into thinking your position you hold in church, your church attendance and once a while giving to the poor is the best you can offer to God and a higher level of commitment is preserve for certain category of people. The devil will make you think going all out for God is not an option and you will miss out of the fun in the world if you go all out for God, he will make you take compromising decisions  and make you shy to confess your faith to people around you. The devil will limit you and dictate to you the extent of the relationship he wants you to have with your creator. This makes you dry and powerless by this you can not experience Jesus wholly because the Holy spirit is not having His way fully

Revelation 3 :16 But since you are lukewarm and not hot or cold, I’m going to spit you out of my mouth.

You can quote scriptures and have knowledge about God’s Word but the application of it will be a burden to you. It doesn’t matter how long you have been a Christian for, it is the impact of the word of God in your life that matters.

Lukewarm Christians are so gullible, predictable and shallow to the extent that the devil uses them to make a statement to mock God. The grace and power given to all Christians lies dormant within them and the devil tosses such Christians around as and when he pleases.

It is just a matter of time the devil whose intention is to steal your from God, destroy and  kill your God’s given destiny and lead you to hell will be done with you and when all is said and done you will give account  to your creator on how you lived here on earth.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father as we repent and submit our ways to your word, may we receive power over our flesh and may we experience a different dimension of You. God we pray for wisdom to break the power of the devil over my life and may our life be pleasing unto you   in Jesus’s name we pray AMEN

WHILES ON OTHERS THOU ART CALLING

We all have 24 hours, 7 days a week and 12 months a year but the opportunities presented to us are not distributed equally and sometimes there is a tendency to feel cheated, jealous or discouraged when we see or hear of other people’s success or achievement.

Normally the mistake some of us Christians make is to compare our race and destiny to others but we forget that: the path God chooses for us to fulfil our purpose on earth differs from each other and comparing your race to others simply means you don’t trust God enough to perfect the things that concerns you.

There is time and seasons for everything on earth, so whiles in your waiting season, maximize the season by doing what the Holy spirit has led you to do. Don’t waste the time away by getting emotional and anxious all day.

Let Him be the peace in your storm. Find comfort in the fact that He has your back you and He can never be too late for the appointed time

See your waiting period as God’s time to get you prepared for your blessing. Even the miracle you are expecting needs grace to be maintained. Your anxiety and negative emotions in your waiting season will not allow you to prepare and trust God’s process and timing. During this waiting period this is where the devil play with our minds the most because he wants us to give up on God promises and doubt God capabilities

The bible says Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
I encourage you today to build up your faith and fix your eyes on Jesus, the founder and the perfecter of your faith

Galatians 6: 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Believe God for the grace to wait upon Him and whiles in your waiting period do not murmur but continue to avail yourself to be led by the Holy spirit.

No matter how events keep turning out, know the God you have entrusted my life into , so far as you have totally surrender to Him and you are being led by the Holy Spirit God will surely come through for you, His timing and plans are perfect.

Father Lord, as your children are going through challenging times in their lives, show them the way to go, may their faith in You be strengthen and may they not compromise with their walk with You. May every lesson that we are supposed to learn whiles we are going through these trying times be learnt in Jesus’ Name AMEN

When Faith Is Failing

Have seemingly impossible situations in life make you question God’s word, capabilities and intentions towards your life? Have you gotten a point in your life where you have thought to yourself that :God has just decided not to answer your prayer. You may, sometimes read all the promises of God related to your circumstances and ask God when is it your turn to receive these promises. Sometimes things can actually get worse as you believe and anytime you talk to God about it,He reassures you and makes reference to Romans 8: 28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God and to them who are called according to his purpose”.

And after reading this powerful scripture, you ask yourself what is the ‘good’ in your current situation Trust God with your situation for He says in Jeremiah 29: 11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosperyou and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. No matter how events are turning out, know the God you have entrusted your life to. So far as you have totally surrendered all to Him and you are being led by the Holy Spirit God will surely turn things in your favor.

As Christians God did not promise the journey of life will be all rosy and simple.

John 16 33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may havepeace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

In the midst of all the problems and difficulties God want you to build your faith muscles. He expects us to pray, meditate On His word daily, offer praise and worship , daily confession of your expectations and walking closely with the Holy Spirit.

God sometimes allow the devil to throw arrows (Problems) our way so that our faith in Him will be increased and strengthened and for His name to be glorified when He turns your test to a testimony. Romans 8: 28 “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed to us”.

God never ignores us in our hard times, He looks down to us and waits for the right timing. Many times, we either stop or delay our own miracles from manifesting physically. Let’s keep it in mind that though  God is capable of doing everything at anytime, He  also works with principles, that is why He always expects us to walk closely with the Holy spirit for His leadings and directions. Always seek God’s direction on what He expects of you in your current situation.

When a situation is supposed to strengthen, change and teach you a lesson, God will not jump ahead and come to your rescue just because you are emotional about it.

Know God for yourself and be sincere with your relationship with Him.Try hard to avoid situations that will compromise your walk with God,for He Loves you more than you can ever imagine.

PRAYER : Father Lord, as your children are going through challenging times in their  lives, show them the way to go, may their faith in You be strengthened and may they not compromise with their walk with You. May every lesson that we are supposed to learn whiles we are going through these trying times be learnt in Jesus’ Name

AMEN

GOD’S MESS NOT YOUR MESSAGE

Only if we pray and intercede for our neighbor’s flaws instead of discussing with others and criticizing them. Imagine if we could sincerely correct and guard in love instead of mocking and looking down on others mistakes.

Being a Christian doesn’t make us a super-human but rather, it is an attempt to be like Jesus Christ, but whiles at it, we make mistakes. Our human desires can get the best part of us to the extent that we lose control.

Proverbs 24 :16 Even if good people fall seven times, they will get back up. But when trouble strikes the wicked, that’s the end of them.

As Christians we can never be perfect for the bible says: our righteousness are like filthy rugs before God, but grace will always abound

Romans 5: 20 The Law came, so that the full power of sin could be seen. Yet where sin was powerful, God’s kindness was even more powerful.

Before you discuss and criticize the flaws of people, please ensure that you have discuss it with God first, and if the discussion has been done with God then there is no need for any third party who has no business with the matter at hand. It is so easy to see and criticize people’s mess, other than ours

Sometimes we don’t know the magnitude of damage the words we utter about people cause them. Demeaning statements can break a person and cause them to lose themselves. Let the words that comes out of our mouth minister grace. Remember no matter how messy someone is, God still love them unconditionally, for God loves the sinner but hate the sin.

Be mindful that your little action wouldn’t be the reason why someone will be driven away from God. Let keep this in mind; Yes, are Christians but we are human and we are bound to make mistakes BUT so far as we are trying to be godly with the guidance of the Holy spirit, God is pleased with us. Pray and advise us in love but don’t criticize and judge us. (For who are you to judge)

And truly you are born-again Christian, you have to allow yourself to be influence by the Holy spirit and you should always use grace abounds as an excuse to continue sinning. For with every sin there is a consequence and you shall sure give account to every action, if you don’t truly repent.

Father, your word says if we confess our sins, you are just and faith to forgive and cleans us, Father may You lose us from our sins and we pray for the grace to see You in others other than criticizing and writing them off. May every word that comes out of our mouth minister grace and may our presence in people’s lives impact them positively. In Jesus’ name. AMEN Be Christfulness
